Square Office Visit

Hi everyone, We are visiting the Square office in Waterloo on April 3rd! The bus will be leaving the university around 5pm and returning around 9pm. Last meeting!

Inclusivity in STEM workshop!

Hello everyone, This Saturday, March 23rd, GWiCS is hosting an "Inclusivity in STEM" workshop! The event will run from 11:00am-2:30pm an will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about biases and how we can promote diversity in STEM. There will be a keynote speech in the morning, followed by some open discussion groups, FREE LUNCH, and a panel of professors/students to answer questions about the importance of diversity in STEM. Please see the poster attached to this email which contains a registration link, and please consider coming out to this fantastic event! There will also be some goodies given out. Upcoming events!

Hello everyone, We have two exciting events coming up! 1. Inclusivity in STEM workshop: March 23rd, 11:00a.m.-2:30p.m., in MAC 149 (poster with registration link attached) We are putting together a workshop with a focus of having open discussions about the importance of diversity in STEM. Meeting tomorrow

Hi everyone, We will be meeting tomorrow at 5:30pm in SSC 1504. We have some exciting updates about upcoming events, and we will be doing some interview prep in the meeting tomorrow. As a group, we will look at some common tech interview questions and brainstorm the best ways to answer. This is really good practice for technical interviews!
