Hi GWiCS! A few things to broadcast: * Save the Date! Our Women in Dev Panel is happening Tues Nov 17th at 6:30pm! The topic this year is "How to be Career Ready". You'll get the chance to meet with developers from Square, Shopify, Mozilla, D2L and more! 🍞 GWiCS Resume Toast on Wednesday 🍞

Hi GWiCS, A reminder about our event this week - the GWiCS Resume Toast is on Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:45pm! Like a roast... but nicer. Our SoCS co-op advisors will "lightly toast" a selection of your anonymous resumes and give some tips about what employers look for in resumes. Be sure to stick around for the Q&A at the end, where all your "burning" questions about job applications will be answered! Thank you for all the great resume submissions we received - come out to the event to see if your resume was one of the lucky few chosen! 🤞 We will be raffling off 2 x $25 Amazon gift cards as door prizes at the event 🎟🎟 This event is open to ALL computing students - so bring your friends!
