Session Title: Security Management - The Evolving CISO Role
Session Abstract: In this session, we will discuss the past, present, and future responsibilities of the Chief Information Security Officer. The senior most security-focused full time equivalent (FTE) in an organization has varied in scope of responsibility over a few dimensions including: time, industry, size and geography. While these dimensions are interesting, they are all driven by risk. We will explore the evolving role of a CISO from its roots as a technician to a risk champion to a business leader while discussing a future road map for those interested in pursuing a career in this direction.
