GWiCS received an email this weekend about an opportunity for free transportation to CAN-CWIC, the ACM Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing. The conference is taking place in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 2nd and 3rd. Queen's University is running a bus from Kingston, Ontario to Halifax for the event, departing on Thursday, November 1st at 5pm and returning on the morning of November 4th. The bus is free, and Queen's has invited any members of GWiCS who may be interested in attending the conference. You must register for CAN-CWIC ($100 for registration and hotel) and you are responsible for your own transportation to and from Kingston.
