Hi GWiCS!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far 😎

We've been busy planning some pretty cool online O-week events - stay tuned for those announcements! 🎉

In the meantime, we wanted to let you know about a new project you could get involved in.

This summer, GWiCS and SOCIS are running a mentorship program for incoming first year computing students!

First years will be placed into small groups with one student mentor per group. The program will be hosted on a Courselink site with a discussion page for each group. Mentors will be there to answer questions, give educated advice, and be a friendly face for new students who are starting their time at Guelph remotely!

If you're interested in volunteering to be a mentor, please fill out this application form before Tuesday June 30th and we will get back to you! All computing students in 2nd year and above can apply to be mentors.
