We hope you're enjoying a fun and relaxing break from school ☃❄️ We have two important updates today.

In 2 weeks we're kicking off the Winter semester with a fun event - Cooking with GWiCS! Get ready to cook and enjoy an easy meal at home with the help of professional chef Emily Richards. This free virtual cooking workshop is Tuesday January 12th at 5:30pm. There will be a raffle at the event for a grocery store gift card of your choice plus a copy of Emily's latest cookbook, "5 Ingredient Cooking"! This event is open to all GWiCS members. Also, GWiCS is excited to be working with SOCS to host Go CODE Girlhttps://www.uoguelph.ca/computing/outreach/go-code-girl on Saturday February 13th at 1:00pm. SOCS has been running this event for many years and it's always a fantastic experience for the kids and volunteers! We are hoping for some enthusiastic GWiCS volunteers to help run this virtual event for young girls interested in computer science and technology. We have some fun workshops and activities planned, and we can't do it without your help. We're looking for anybody who is interested in helping out (including first year students, masters students, or alumni).
