WiN Canada Student Scholarship
Applications Now Open!

WiN (Women in Nuclear) Canada is offering four $3,000 scholarships to support young women pursuing careers in the nuclear industry. The scholarships recognize students who actively highlight the industry's benefits through their studies and community involvement.

Scholarship Categories:

  1. Undergraduate Student – Enrolled in a university program with a demonstrated interest in the nuclear sector.
  2. Graduate Student – Enrolled in a graduate program with a clear career path in the industry.
  3. Technical/Trade Student – Enrolled in a technical college or trade school with nuclear industry aspirations.
  4. Indigenous Student – An Indigenous woman enrolled in any of the above educational paths.

Additional Benefits:

Recipients are invited to attend the WiN Canada Conference (October 5–8, 2025, Niagara Falls) withconference fees, travel, and accommodations covered.

Eligibility:

  • Women enrolled and in good standing at a Canadian university, technical college, or trade school.
  • Must demonstrate an interest in working in the nuclear industry.
  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
  • Work experience in the industry is an asset but not required.

  

Application Requirements 

  1. Completed scholarship application form.
  2. Resume.
  3. Full transcript (unofficial transcripts accepted).
  4. Two letters of reference from industry professionals, professors, colleagues, community leaders, employers, or volunteer leaders.

The closing date for receipt of applications is May 15th, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET.
