Hi Everyone
As you probably have heard, Dr. Deb Stacey's term as Director of the School of Computing is ending and we have begun the process of searching for (and appointing) a new Director. As part of that process we solicit input from all members of the School, including undergraduate students.
On Tuesday, April 12, SOCS undergraduate students are invited to meet with the Dean and the search committee. The meeting will take place from 12:00noon - 1:00 pm in room 1511 in the Science Complex. Please come to learn about the process for selecting the new Director for SOCs and to provide input about issues and challenges that our new Director must address.
I will be at the meeting as I am a member of the search committee. If you would like more information about what will happen at the meeting or the an part of the selection process please feel free to contact me directly.
