* receive a full semester of training and ongoing mentorship * increase your confidence and improve your communication skills * support first-year students in developing successful writing strategies * increase your awareness of different campus communities and resources * join the Writing team of undergraduate writing peers, graduate writing TAs, and professional staff * become a part of the larger campus-wide Peer Helper Program with its 30+ year history of students helping students at U of G!
Benefits include professional skill development, quality training and coaching from professional staff, dedicated workspace in the McLaughlin Library, cross-unit engagement with other Library Peer Helper teams, an honorarium, and recognition of participation on your official academic transcript.
